Tzedakah is a central mitzvah of Judaism.
The following is a list of funds available for donations to honor and remember your loved ones & friends.

Amanda Sham Resource Center for Special Needs:  Provides equipment, supplies and staff for our special needs children.

COVID-19 Relief Fund – To assist our families & staff as well as off-set unforseen expenses.
Craig A. Fisher Memorial Fund:  Presented to a student(s) who demonstrate the ideals of humanity, integrity, compassion and scholastic aptitude and who continues their studies at Gratz College, I.M. Wise Department.
Diamond for the Simcha Wall: To honor life cycle events.
Discretionary Fund – Rabbi Leib Discretionary Fund: Used for a variety of causes.
Discretionary Fund – Rabbi Tornberg Discretionary Fund: Used for a variety of causes.
Discretionary Fund – Cantor Zarkh Discretionary Fund: Used for a variety of causes.
Don Dafilou Building Fund:  Helps to keep our building and grounds in repair.
Haley J. Yarmark Fund for Social Justice Learning: provides scholarships to our high school students to participate in the important work of the Religious Action Center (RAC), based in Washington, D.C.
Harry z’l & Evelyn Silver Scholar in Residence Fund: Brings scholars, artists and speakers to Beth Am.
Joyce E. Shotz Memorial Fund:  Aids families who need financial help to send their children to religious school.
Julia Nicole Marder Camp Scholarship Fund: Awarded to children attending Jewish summer camp.
Kitchen Renovation Fund: To help insure that our dream for an updated, commercial kitchen can come true.
Lincow Institute for Adult Jewish Education: Provides lifelong educational programming.
Marcia Goldman Endowment Fund: Supports capital improvements to our campus.
Music Fund:  To purchase new music and maintain our piano.
Newell Institute for Israel Studies: fosters a connection between the congregation and the State of Israel.
Ostroff Scholarship Fund:  Each year a portion of this fund is used to assist families who encounter financial challenges that threaten their ability to pay the costs associated with the continuation of students Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation studies.

Prayerbook Dedication $54:  
Dedication of a Shabbat siddur or Bible in honor or in memory of family or friends.
Prayerbook Fund:  Used to replace books that become unusable.
Rabbi Harold B. & Elise Waintrup z’l Education Fund: To support education from kindergarten through 10th grade.
Roberta z’l & Dr. Herbert Kronstadt Scholarship Fund: To make Bar or Bat Mitzvah possible for those with special needs.
School of Early Learning Fund: For the purchase of equipment and special programs for the pre-school.
Torah Fund:  For the maintenance and replacement of our ceremonial objects.
Yetta and Joseph Brill Holocaust Memorial Fund: Honors the memory of the Six Million lost in the Shoah through programming.
Youth Fund: To support our youth groups.
