Ways to Donate
The giving of tzedakah is a mitzvah. At Beth Am, we are very appreciative of all tzedakah, whether it be giving with the hand or giving with the heart.
We depend on the generosity of our congregants, of their families and friends, and of the community, to help us in our mission. Please consider making a donation in one of the following ways:
- Contributions – You can designate a specific purpose for your donation, or your donation can be used in the day-to-day operations of our synagogue. There are many different funds to which you can contribute, each with a specific purpose.
- Contributions of marketable securities – If you choose, you can contribute investments that you currently own. (There are additional tax benefits associated with this method; we recommend consulting with your tax advisor to learn more.)
- Areivim Legacy Circle – Those who wish to participate in ensuring the future of Beth Am can contribute to an endowment fund through planned giving. Consider becoming a member of this special group by remembering Beth Am in your will. (There are tax benefits associated with this method; we recommend consulting with your tax adviser to learn more.)
- Volunteer your time – While our clergy and dedicated professional staff keep our congregation operating, Beth Am is a lay led congregation, and our lay leaders make our congregation and our community special. Volunteers are involved in essentially every facet of synagogue operations. Help us make a difference by giving your time and energy to your congregational family.
