BAFTY, which stands for Beth Am Federation of Temple Youth is for students in Grades 9–12 (and the 2nd semester of 8th grade). BAFTY is a comprehensive program that offers social, meaningful, and fun ways to get involved in the Jewish community and build Jewish identity. Events throughout the year range from, social action, religious, social and cultural. We meet regularly throughout the year, exploring Philadelphia, seeing movies, sleeping at the synagogue, and participating in local social action projects and events. BAFTY is part of the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) and BAFTY members travel around the Pennsylvania region to socialize, learn, and lead other Reform Jewish teens. BAFTY also provides leadership training and skills that will lead the students into the future.
